Plastic sheet coating
All types of plastic have their own advantages and drawbacks. You’re unlikely to find the perfect match for the application you have in mind, precisely because plastic offers so many options.
By applying a coating to your plastic sheets, we can improve their surface properties. If condensation presents a challenge in your situation, we can apply a fog-resistant coating to your plastic sheets. If scratching is a major risk, we’ll apply an abrasion-resistant coating. Either way, the result is the same: excellent optical quality. Need to protect your product from vandalism? We offer a graffiti-resistant coating too! Our coatings can even protect your plastic components against corrosive chemical products.
How does our coating line work?
We clamp the sheets in to place, and depending on whether we are applying a single or double-sided coating, we remove the foil on one or both sides. Using a guide system, we then manoeuvre the plastic sheets onto our coating line,
where we apply our coatings from the top. The flow coating method we use guarantees optimal surface quality. Next, the sheets proceed to the drying room, before the coating is activated on our UV line as a final step.
